Marcus Belgrave Sextet MARCUS BELGRAVE SEXTET This wonderful, legendary jazz trumpeter was born in Pennsylvania. He now composes, arranges, records and produces. He is a professor of music at Oberlin University, Ohio. He is best known for his long time playing with Ray Charles but has also collaborated with Ella Fitzgerald, Charles Mingus, McCoy Tyner, Dizzy Gillespie, Wynton Marsalis, Aretha Franklin ....... the list goes on. His tribute to Louis Armstrong is unparalleled and he is enthusiastically received the world over. We are more than enthusiastic too Marcus. |
