Ted Hogarth
TED HOGARTH Ted is a Chicago musician whose passion is playing Baritone saxophone, clarinet and bass clarinet. His inspirations on these instruments are Gerry Mulligan, Jimmy Hamilton, Harry Carney and Barney Bigard. Ted certainly makes a rich dark tone. He writes Big Band arrangements and is no stranger to Woody Herman’s ‘4 Brothers’ which will be re-enacted for you as could be Gerry Mulligans ‘5 Brothers’. He has played with numerous great artists and is an active member of the Chicago Jazz Ensemble. Welcome aboard Ted!
